Parenting Support
Being a parent is the hardest, and also the most meaningful, job in the world. As a mother-of-two, Louise Bayly deeply relates to, and understands, the physical, emotional and psychological demands parents navigate on a daily basis. Wherever you are in your parenthood journey, we’re here to walk alongside you.
At Balance Bayly Therapy, we reinterpret children's challenging behavior through a brain-body paradigm shift by understanding their unique nervous system roadmap, sensory and emotional sensitivities, and relational and co-regulation needs. We also incorporate a framework for becoming familiar with your own parenting triggers and cultivating reparenting practices you can apply in the here and now. From a couples context, we will also re-examine the division of domestic labor and the mental, invisible load that disproportionately affects mothers and their partners.
